Woodrow Hosts its High School Information nightTop of Page
On November 30th Woodrow hosted its annual High School information night. More than half of our 8th grade families attended to hear information about the many opportunities that await at New Brunswick High School and some of the other options that are available to New Brunswick 9th graders.
On February 10th, students from the 5th through 8th grades who were selected to be student mentors had their first "official" meeting and training session. Over twenty-five special students, who were selected due to their own individual strengths and qualities, met with Dr. Vanessa Pellington who is in charge of teacher development in New Brunswick. After a a short presentation, a discussion of what it means to be a mentor, and a special breakfast, students were prepared, empowered, and inspired to make a difference here at Woodrow Wilson.
